There are 4 stages to the Camp America ONLINE Application:

Step 1: Register online, follow the instructions to complete your Application Form and upload your photos. You will then receive login details for your Camp America site which contains your application data. This site will alllow you to upload photos and other information ot complete your application. 

Step 2: Pay your first deposit and select a interviewer in your area from the dropdown list. They'll then contact you directly regarding an interview time and date.

Step 3: Collect the additional paperwork you will need and attend your interview!

Step 4: Following your interview, log back in to your own personal Camp America site and complete your 'Application' (which Camp Directors will see - so make it good!).

Step 5: Use the Camp America Direct site to track the progress of your application and interact with Camp America.

What to bring to your interview:

When applying to Camp America there are certain important items you'll need to supply...

References: Every application (unless you're returning to the same camp) should be accompanied by 2 references. We're pretty strict with our reference rules, and we'll be unable to accept any references that don't match our requirements so pay attention!

References & Paperwork:

• Less than 12 months old, and dated to show this!
• Written by someone who has known you in a professional capacity (e.g. not a friend, neighbour or family member) for a minimum of 6 months.
• On letterhead or have a business card/stamp attached.
• Completed giving the full details (address and telephone number/fax/email) of the person giving the reference.
• Positive and relevant - remember potential Camp Directors will see them!
