I had an amazing time at camp, words cannot explain how good it was. As much as I felt homesick at times while at camp, since being home I miss it so much. The kids are just amazing, they look up to you and want to know everything about your life in Australia.

I found my fantastic camp at the Job Day held in Sydney. I ventured from home into the city on my own as I knew soon enough I might be travelling on my own in the USA, so I thought I better start practicing in Australia! Upon arrival I was very nervous and had no idea where I was going but I had one camp in mind that I wanted to see first so I was very determined to make a good impression. I rocked up to the event, and all the staff there were so friendly and they made me feel so welcome that my nerves eased.
I went straight to my camp of choice, and after looking at the other ones I knew this one was for me. But the Variety out there is amazing……
Straight on my first approach to my camp director he was amazing and made me just really want to be there and made me feel so welcome. The camp knew what they were looking for and my skills matched that position. It was so quick and easy and in no time I was signed up and had a date that I had to be at camp. It was awesome I left there with the biggest smile on my face and the best feeling that I accomplished some thing so great and I new my journey was about to begin.
