Whatever your skills, there's a place to use them at camp!
There are roles for people who are activity superstars, have qualifications in a particular skill area or have experience in teaching and mentoring kids. Heaps of energy, enthusiasm and a love for children is a must! The positions below outline three different ways that you can get involved with camp life.
General Counsellor
'Counsellors' are in charge of a group of ‘campers' general well-being and ensure that their 'charges' enjoy all their activities safely.
It's likely that you'll end up taking part in many of the activities, so while you don't need to be an expert, the Aussie ‘have-a-go' attitude is essential. On a typical day, you could find yourself jumping from tennis to archery or finding yourself being dragged across a lake on one of those inflatable banana things!
