Whatever your skills, there's a place to use them at camp!
There are roles for people who are superstars in a skill area, and for people who have only basic experience, but are great with kids and have heaps of energy and enthusiasm! The positions below outline three different ways that you can get involved with camp life.
General Counsellor
'Counsellors' are in charge of a group of ‘campers' general well-being and ensure that their 'charges' enjoy all their activities safely.
It's likely that you'll end up taking part in many of the activities, so while you don't need to be an expert, the Aussie ‘have-a-go' attitude is essential. On a typical day, you could find yourself jumping from tennis, to archery, to finding yourself being dragged across a lake on one of those inflatable banana things!
