The American Institute for Foreign Study (Australia) Pty Ltd opened its Australian office in 1999 and began offering its Camp America and Au Pair in America programs to young Australians. In 2005, AIFS commenced offering inbound programs and currently facilitates cultural exchange programs for more than 2,000 young people.

Chipinaw is truly unique as we have two premier overnight summer camps virtually on one property. Chipinaw and Silver Lake are neighboring camps located deep in the heart of New York's beautiful Catskill Mountains. We give our campers the opportunity to stay for the full summer at Chipinaw, or to enjoy all the Chipinaw fun in half the time at Silver Lake. Our camps are situated on over 300 acres, including the magnificent 96-acre Silver Lake. We welcome boys and girls age 7 through 16 to join us for a summer of Fun, Friends, Sports, Arts and Adventure. You will find that Chipinaw and Silver Lake are more than just neighbors. We are a family!
