The American Institute for Foreign Study (Australia) Pty Ltd opened its Australian office in 1999 and began offering its Camp America and Au Pair in America programs to young Australians. In 2005, AIFS commenced offering inbound programs and currently facilitates cultural exchange programs for more than 2,000 young people.

Independent Lake Camp celebrates diversity, promotes creativity, & empowers individual growth with camper-chosen personalized scheduling. ILC is a co-ed overnight camp in the Pocono Mountains for ages 6-17 offering an impressive array of activities with top-notch facilities and staff- Circus, Sports, Performing Arts, Magic, Skatepark, Digital Arts, RPG, LARPing, Fine Arts, Music, Climbing Wall, Aquatics, Horseback & more.
Established as a non-traditional summer camp, ILC is dedicated to: Celebrating diversity of people, activities, places, ideas, views & beliefs, Promoting creativity within each camper and the community, Empowering individual growth with our personalized scheduling - each camper chooses their own activities, and Maintaining top-notch facilities & equipment and employing a talented staff so all activities offered are rich with integrity.
One period off per normal day, plus occasional rest hours when co-counselors are covering the bunk. Days off: One per session week worked, except first and last. There are no days off during staff training orientation week. Nights off: Counselors will be "on duty" 5-6 nights every two-weeks. The other nights, they are off and can leave camp until the 1:00AM curfew.
