The American Institute for Foreign Study (Australia) Pty Ltd opened its Australian office in 1999 and began offering its Camp America and Au Pair in America programs to young Australians. In 2005, AIFS commenced offering inbound programs and currently facilitates cultural exchange programs for more than 2,000 young people.

What is Winter Work Canada?

Winter Work Canada is the perfect combination of work and fun. Experience some of the best snow in the world, gain international work experience and have your job and accommodation sorted before you leave home.

We work with reputable employers across the some of the famous resort areas  including Whistler.  

Our jobs are located in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and on the snow fields. Work is offered from November – March.

Make Friends, meet the locals

You will be working alongside Canadians and other people from around the world. Unlike a tour or short package holiday, you get to interact with locals, learn about Canada and experience every day life.

With plenty of time to socialise you have the option to experience winter resort nightlife - and exploring the slopes and the country with new friends..

The Jobs

Don't worry about finding work in Canada. With Winter Work Canada, we'll get your first job sorted before you arrive and include the staff housing -You'll get paid around $16-$20 per hour, depending on the role and your experience. We have jobs for those with little to no experience through to more senior positions.

Requirements

  • Are aged between 18-30 years old
  • Meet the requirements under the Canadian Working Visa
  • Are a high school graduate or equivalent

How to Apply

Once your online profile is completed, you'll be invited to attend an interview with one of our team before we start your placements process. you will then move forward to the matching process (the exciting part!) which is when you speak to potential employers. Again, we will explain the process, and questions that will be helpful to ask.

Once placed we will walk you through the last steps in order to prepare for your trip.
