Resorts normally provides a single or shared room for around 5000-35,000JPY per month.
You also get subsidized meals at the employee canteen for only 300 yen per meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Resorts will also normally provide free or discounted lift tickets.
Depending on the resort location you should expect the closest town to be 10-20 minutes by bus.
The winter season lasts from mid-November to mid-April and you will need to commit to a minimum of 3 months employment. Work is fulltime - (5 days per week x 8 hours) and your should expect you will work both evenings and weekends.
While no Japanese is needed, a basic level of Japanese (high school or beginners courses are fine) will open your application to more employment opportunities. You can expect a monthly wage of around 160,000JPY.
